The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars 1972 defined glam rock. He moved through soul on Young Americans 1975, electronic collaboration with Brian Eno on Low 1977, and pop on Lets Dance 1983. He entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 and received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006.
